Bilge Emir (*Ankara, based in Berlin), working in illustration, design & video, is a graduate of the Visual Communication MA, Weißensee KHB. Her practice explores the intersections of power structures, visual representation, and the politics of imagery. Besides her solo work, she values collective production & self-organized practices. Recently she was one of the Akademie Schloss Solitude fellows for 2025, As a member of the media archive collective bak.ma. Most recently, her book “Tongue Touching the Other / Dil Ötekine Değince” was published by Cutt Press in 2025 June.
